My sponsorship approval was notified by email too. I think there are a few other people here whom that happened with too?

I was just approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The file has gone to New Delhi :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

What are the next steps? How long does processing time usually take in Delhi!

I am so excited and happy right now! Thanks everyone for their support!

Congrats! I think on average the second step takes 6 months for New Delhi (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp) but things maybe going faster than that as the initial sponsorship approval step took about twice the normal time. There was somebody here who was saying 20% get done in 2 months, 50% in 4 months, 80% in 6 months. I am not exactly sure what the next steps are myself. There definitely is a background check. And then they request the applicant's passport.
