Jan Session, Still no updates on visa

I applied on November 29th and till now i have not got any updates. When i try tracking my application, it says its under process.....I have linked it too and it says status open and no other updates.....My classes starts from January 9, how am i suppose to manage?
is there anyone whose class starts on jan 9 and still has got no any updates on their passport.
I have emailed on the embassy but have not got any responses.
what should i do

There's really nothing you can do but wait. You did apply relatively late.

At this point CIC is probably going to tell you to defer your studies to the next semester since classes are starting so soon.

relax brother. even i got my passport instructions yesterday. my classes are from the 9th too.. what u can do is contact your clg,uni and ask them for an extension. i contacted them and they were nice enough to give me a 2 week extension from my joining date

ma classes are also from 9th january and still didn't get any update
but there are are so many students who didn't get their visa......
embassy is closed for monday also....
sooooo lets wait when we will get response from embassy
