Hey everyone, hoping to hear from folks who have been waiting for LPP to be completed. I have been waiting 3 months and more since my BG was marked complete. And more than 2 months so far since test was marked complete. Not sure whats the expected timeline for Van office!

Late March applicant here. BG was completed almost instantly, but absolutely nothing since. I’m in Vancouver, but no idea if they’re the office actually handling my application.

I’m not necessarily thinking more should have been completed by now, but I do find it curious that my BG was completed exactly 2 weeks after my file was assigned to someone (seems VERY fast to me), and absolutely nothing since. Makes me wonder if my BG process was accidentally marked as completed…

I think that’s probably standard nowadays, my BG was marked completed in exactly 12 days after AOR.

Jan 30 applicant; AOR Feb 14. My test was marked completed on Mar 18 and had been waiting for LPP since. I finally had LPP done on Jul 1. It's coming!

Thanks. I was thinking it was either a mistake, or (much more likely, sadly) I’m just a boring person, BG-wise

IRCC conducts an initial screening, which is usually lightning quick, and then decides (for the majority) to complete the BC, or starts a comprehensive screening with the help of external agencies like CSIS and CBSA, which for the unlucky ones means 2 or 3 years of processing. It's good to be boring

Thats good to know so 3 months and couple week mark is where its at from the looks of your timeline!
My timeline is just another data point and I wouldn't use it to predict your own or other people's timeline. I have seen Vancouver applications that had moved much faster than mine.

I kept a record of 80 completed timelines I found online and my application is actually on the slower end.
