Yeah i have also seen people waiting to get a update after review started.

Medical done on sept 12th
Last update on sept 12th.
Now Waiting for the good news.

Here are some timelines of the students who got their PPR recently. These are from a group I am part of.

1)
1st filed -12 may
Refusal-15 july
2-Reasons : not leave canada and previous qualification
2nd filed - 23rd july
Refusal-24 aug
1-Reason : not leave canada
3rd filed - 31st aug
everything updated on 4 nov
Review/ medical/ bvl/ ppr


2) Got my ppr guys
Sep 13 filed
Sep 23 biometrics and updated on Nov 4
Medical and ppr on Nov 4th



3) Reapplied July17
Review started Oct10
Medical updated August 31
Bvl Sept1
Ppr Nov5



4) Medical Done - 3 Jul

There's lot more but those are images and I am not sure how to share them here. Looking at the timelines it is clear that IRCC started reviewing the files from the first half of September and those who applied in this time frame are started getting result. Hopefully they will reach to the Oct files soon.
