Hi all,

Last week I submitted the Inland Spousal Sponsorship & Open Work Permit application.
I payed $100 for the Open Work Permit Holder Fee, but didn't realize I also owed $155 for the Work Permit Application Fee. I made the additional payment today but I did not send the online form because an immigration agent told me that i have to wait till I get AOR or the OWP application back to me.
So what's the scenario i'm gonna have? and is this mistake will delay the whole thing?

Thank you guys

It may result in the OWP app being returned. What is your current status and when does it expire?

I really want to avoid app return. My status is post grad work permit valid to July 2020.

Incomplete fees is one of the most common reasons for return of the OWP app and there really is no way to attach the new fee receipt to your app since the app won't even have been entered into the system yet.

The good news is that you are in a much better position than most in this situation with your current status. Even if the OWP app is returned, it will be before your PGWP expires, which means you will be able to re-submit and continue working on Implied Status if your PGWP expires before OWP approval.

Thank you for the quick answer. I will wait until I get my AOR then I'll contact them again and let them know that I sent a web form with file# provided. I was shocked to see the amount of ppl that made the same mistake. This issue need to be clarified on the guide.
