Indian national. I have 2 J1 visas, both issued for 1 year duration, but my D/S 2019 was re-issued every year with an extension date. I was on J1 status the entire time, but the visas have discontinuous dates with a gap of ~1.5 years. that is, the 2nd visa was issued 1.5 years after expiry of the first. what do I write in the history of immigration? the entire period I was a s a J1 or the discontinuous dates written on the visa? any suggestions appreciated. thank you!
