It's been one month since medical passed but no response. (study permit)

I'm extremely worried because it has been exactly one month since my medical is passed but i'm not getting any response from the embassy now. I've applied for student visa from pakistan in april. And this is my application status. What do you guys think ?

A month is not an unusually long time to wait. They are doing the background check. If this is your first visa ever, you can expect it to take some time.

Actually, when i gave my interview, the interviewer himself told me that "you've cleared your interview and you'll receive passport request within one week after your medical." That's why I'm bothered.

Doesn't matter what the interviewer said. They are looking into your background.

Besides, there's nothing you can do but wait. The only other option is to apply for GCMS notes, but that takes a month anyway. You should have an answer well before that. If you don't have any information in 15-20 days, you can apply for your notes to see what's happening.

You should send a webform for the Abu Dhabi visa office.... Even if you've submitted one already, you can send another one since it's been 8 weeks for your application..
