It's been more than 3 weeks at CHC Delhi and still under processing! :(

Hey guys
I applied on 16th July under university category at VFS Delhi. There are so many people who applied after me but have already received their passports back, my case is still under processing! Anyone else from India who is waiting since a long time for their passport??

Surely those people who are waiting for MONTHS are from Pakistan, I so far haven't read about anyone from INDIA waiting for so long!

I am starting to panic now guys! What if my application is not processed in time for the Sep 2012 intake? This is already the 4th week of my application, I know it is not SPP but University category. Still, this is taking too long. I applied at Delhi and it is supposed to be faster than Chandigarh. Is anyone else facing the same issue? Has anyone heard of a case where an INDIAN applicant was not able to fly to Canada because their file was not processed in time??? I am SO worried!

So, another day gone and still no change in status! Even though many people who applied on 31st July/1st Aug are now getting passports back already! I know university category is slower than SPP but this has been sheer mental torture of FOUR WEEKS already so far! If my status does not change next week either, I'd officially get a panic attack!!!

Yea I emailed them on Tuesday, I have just received an email which isn't very helpful! This is what it says:
"Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Your e-mail has been forwarded to the appropriate section for any necessary action. If anything further is required at this time, the section will contact the applicant.

We trust that this information will be of assistance."
