Its been 21 Months

Hello everyone,

I have made it past the 21 month mark. Sent my application in on May 2011. My application is currently in the Edmonton CIC.

My question is to those who have endured longer than anticipated wait times, what can be done at this point in order for CIC to pay more attention to your application? When I talked to the agents at the CIC Call Centre they also mention that this is only for 80% of the cases bla bla bla..

Any suggestions to help move my application forward?

You filed your application ahead of me. I took the citizenship test yesterday in Edmonton. Maybe, there are problems with your application. This time, you should already take your exams.

same here, infact 22 months have passed and no test invitation, and i tried calling the call center but it says, " unable to complete the call .please check the number and dial again " did anyone else experience this problem ??

Same here, it will be 21 months next week ... no news however I got RQ'd :'(

There is NOTHING you can do then WAITING, I heard that CIC agents may tell you anything they want it won't speed up the process!
