Hi,

I heard immigration to Canada happens through international lawyers. Are they in India? Do they give ITA? Why do they give licenses to immigration consultancies overseas? If we take their help, will they consult for me in securing an ITA & Visa?

You get an ITA through the government of Canada. Lawyers and consultants can’t give you an ITA but can help you put together an application. You can do the process yourself though.

No - immigration does not happen through international lawyers. There is no need to use a lawyer. You can do it yourself.
No - lawyers do not give ITA. IRCC gives ITA.
If you don't want to apply yourself and need help, this would be the reason to hire an immigration lawyer or consultant.
No - a lawyer will not increase your chances to secure an ITA or a visa. Your chances will still be the same. They will just help you to put together the application if you don't want to do this work or research yourself.

Txs. I tried that once. I have acer gateway laptop which works properly. But the website was not responding after I opened it. There is French language as well, and translation button missing. I guess the application website works only on business internet connection. So I gave money to the lawyers firms in India. Are you sure, a government agent sits in front his computer and approves a guy? Please let me know about this? Nice day

I have no idea what web site you are talking about.

I don't know what you mean by a government agent approving a guy. Sometimes agents will lie and say they are approved or certified by Canada when they are not. There are many bad agents out there.

Your option bet is to do it yourself and not use an agent. But if you do it yourself, you have to be prepared to spend a considerable amount of time researching the process.

So you aren't applying through Express Entry but Quebec immigration.

ITAs are given out through draws not a person sitting at a computer and clicking yes to your profile. So if your score is above 470, you may get an ITA.

Yes I have already that score because of my recent work experience. I am not working now because it’s covid and dangerous.
