Hi all,

I'm having a potentially disastrous bug in my ITA application Work History.

After the scheduled maintenance yesterday some of my work history had gone missing. So after hopping on here I got some advice to re-enter the job listing which makes perfect sense.

However now when I enter my job details I get a validation error saying enter hours per week and town/city. I enter them perfectly but it wont save and gives me a validation error message for those two fields. I don't know what to do?!?!
 
I just checked. I have the same issue. It might be a common problem to all and considering it was the weekend give CIC atleast next week to resolve. I hope they will resolve over the next few days. If they don't fix, I"ll just load all work letters together and also load in the letter of explanation.

Not much we can do at this stage.
 
Sounds like a plan. I've just checked it all in a different browser (now safari - was previously using chrome) and it seems to work ok now however after adding all of my work history again I still can only upload my employment evidence for one job, its like it is not recognising the other jobs at all. I'll give it another look this week once they are back in the office and see if it fixes itself however I'll probably just have to add it all into one document so they get it.
 
I am facing the same issue. I tried uploading my documents after selecting the file it says validation error and missing mandatory field. When I checked my application it says I have not mentioned my number of hours and city/town. But when i filled in the required details, the system is not saving my details. I checked on CIC website, they have mentioned about this error and suggested to use a different browser.Tried my application with different browser but after logging, it completely took off my work history. :( Tried all possible solutions. In the end decided to report it to CIC, but the link where they have asked to report the complaint is not available :'(... Don't know what to do... I don't want to wait for another week or so to submit my application... Experts pls help....

Happened with me as well... Did you fill in your entire work history details again??? I have two employment details and the system took off one of my employment record link in the checklist completely... what solution you are opting for??
 
Again seems related to some maintenance related IT issues done this weekend. Give them some time. I still feel a lot of applicants would be impacted and hope that they would fix it this week.

I have time to apply so don't want to hurry. Will give it a few days with the hope it fixes. If it doesn't, take screenshots of the job inputs, load it in LOE along with the remaining letters and hope for the best.

You can only controls things in your hand. We can't control this and if it doesn't fix try to make the best of it.
 
Ok so after a little digging around there appear to be more 'glitches' if you are using google chrome. There was a 'Hours per week' and 'Town/City' validation issues in work history for me when using google chrome.

I logged in using safari instead and that issue wasn't present so I re-entered all of my work history. However, when I continued through to the document checklist there was only one job present that would allow me to upload my work evidence.

My advice is don't be hasty, give them a few days or a week to resolve the issue. There are already quite a few people reporting the problem so I expect it is a known issue. Try to contact tech support and mention it to them, if enough people report it I expect it will be addressed.

If they don't fix it I intend explain the issue in the letter of explanation. Then I will list my work history in the letter and attach all supporting evidence as an appendix to that letter.
 
Mine is an issue regarding work checklist, I was supposed to provide a document for my part time job as well but now that section is gone!! I have got the letter and everything but now there is no place to upload the second job! What should I do? :O
 
Looks like a lot of people are having the same issue i cluding myself.
These CIC people cant do anything right lol
 
A different question here, please:

After completing my profile, post ITA, and I click on the "continue" button, will I still be able to return to my profile to double check my work history, personal history, etc?

Yeah you can still update it later if required.
 
Hi guys,

I don't have a place to download: work history, my kids medical, kids certificate of birth, national ID for my spouse... All those field just have disappeared. What to do? Hope they will fix it.
 
For the kid, updating kids profile with a small change updated all the checklist documents for me. However, i lost the documents which i had previously uploaded, so I had to upload them again.

Regarding work history, same issue with me. If it is not fixed by the time I submit the application, i'll collate all the work experience documents in a single file and will upload them.
