ITA reeceived with wrong score

CIC increased my points little before the actual date just like here, but in my case I applied any way because I got a provincial nominee(+600 points). The extra points CIC prematurely added didnt help in any way, I would still qualify so I went ahead and applied. I think it is OK if you still qualify without the points they gave you little early.

Yes, if you get PNP points, then it is a different case as you will be eligible in every draw irrespective of the fact whether you get the additional points prematurely for work experience or not.

Thanks a lot for your responses. So the unanimous decision is to decline this ITA and wait for the next round. I also thought the same but my lawer said that it wont matter if we accept it after October 5 when I will complete one year at my job.

I was about to do it but then my situation changed again. Today i received my LMIA approval from the company I am working for. So this means that I will get additional 600 points to my score. so should I still decline this ITA and then change the score in my profile and then wait for the next draw or should I proceed with accepting this ITA? will the CIC again raise this question that at the time of ITA I did not have enough points?

I'd strongly recommend that you decline the ITA.

With the additional 600 points, you are essentially guaranteed an ITA in the next round.
It's better to wait a couple of extra weeks and be certain that everything is fine, than to accept this ITA when there is even the slightest chance that CIC could take issue with it.

You don't have LMIA when ITA is issued to you. You should decline this ITA until the next draw (which you are guaranteed for LMIA)

I don't know who your lawyer is, but fire him at once. There is no such thing like "accepting ITA". You can decline it or not. You accepted it on the date when you got it.

Your LMIA can't be used for the ITA you got, because it wasn't displayed in your profile. You have to wait for the next round

I am afraid officers check the eligibility against the date an ITA was issued. So, if an applicant's credentials don't add up to the minimum cutoff score for the round the ITA was issued, the application would be deemed ineligible, irrespective of the date of submission.

Someone on the forum emailed CIC about whether their CRS would drop due to them having a birthday after they receive ITA, and the response from CIC was that the profile essentially locks once you receive ITA, and all information is taken as at that moment.

I don't have a link to the forum, post, though.

I'm really sorry if I keep repeating myself, but it's all in your interest. Everybody here tries to prevent you from making a huge mistake. I know you are excited to apply, but your application will be really likely refused. If you have an LMIA you can lose it too during the long process before refusal. Wait for the next round. With the extra 600 you will get an ITA. Don't worry about that. And also, if you wait till October, you will be surely selected again. It's your decision, and that's my last desperate warning.

How long did it take for your LMIA to get processed after the application from your company? I don't know where to get an ETA from.

this is true. You have to meet all requirements at time of ITA, and also at time of application. Reject ITA at this time, and wait for the next one is the prudent move.

This bug comes from the EE form where you enter MM/YY but not DD/MM/YY on work experiences. Why they designed it like that is beyond me

Scenario: min draw score 480. number of draws 1500.

Case 1: A candidate receives an ITA with total score of 480. But the candidate 2 years work experience would be complete only after 10 days of receiving the ITA. There are at least 15 other candidates in the same situation.

Case 2: A candidate has two years and 2 months of work experience. The candidate's overall score is 479. There are at least a few other candidate in the same situation.

Outcome: out of 1500 ITAs issued, those 15 ITAs issued in case 1 were rejected because they did not have their 2 years work experience complete and their points should have been equal to that of 1 year work experience. IRCC rejects their application. If the draw had been conducted with exclusion of those 15 candidate of case 1, then the candidates of case 2 would have received an ITA with a score of 479.

Are you saying IRCC is letting the above to happen? Isn't that causing inflation of the minimum required score at each draw?
