ITA received. Passport expiring in 12months.

I received an ITA last week and currently getting documents ready for submission. My passport expires in October 2019. Given the processing times for all steps after ITA in the EE process, should I apply for a passport renewal?
Also, if I apply for a passport renewal, should I submit my old passport and new passport for documents submission and all processes going forward?

Yes. Please, renew your passport. Also, submit all the passports and update the information of your new passport in your portal.
