Hi,

I moved to Canada last year on Sep 27, 2022 as an Intracompany Transferee. My job contract started on Oct 1, 2022. Therefore, I was expecting to get points for one year Canadian work experience on Oct 1, 2023. However, those points were already added to my EE profile in September and therefore I got an ITA yesterday (26 Sep 2023). I believe this has happened because the system only asks for month and year (MMYYYY) for work experience. My question is whether I should accept the ITA or decline it? I think I should decline it. Has anyone been in a similar position?

Thanks.

That’s normal. Don’t decline. After ITA, you will have 60 days to submit a complete PR application, so you can continue to accumulate more experience during the 60 days.
