I received my invitation to apply on January 25, and submitted everything January 28. Our application says that the background check has started, so we might be close of reaching an answer. My question is, on the meantime, I changed of passport. The number is the same, but the expiry date is different now. I have been trying to find out if I need to declare this or not? I cannot upload the document to my PR profile on canada.ca.
Anyone with any ideas or hints on how to go about this? I dont want to wait an extra month just for submitting my new passport but I dont want our application to get rejected either.
