Hi all,
I recently received my ITA under the Provincial Nominee! YAYYY!
To make an accurate application I have a few questions that I hope you guys can help me with.
I am working under an implied status in Canada right now (BC). I did apply for an extension of my work permit before it expired which allows me to continue working for my current employer that also provides me the job offer.
Now I am unsure how to state this in the application form.
Questions are as follows:
1. Do you work in Canada right now? - Yes
2. Do you have a valid work permit? - Would that be yes or no? I am concerned my application might be refused if I enter NO.
3. Is your current work permit for this employer you have the work permit from? - Depends on Answer 2.
Another question I have is regarding the address history.
In the last 10 years I lived at quite a few different countries. During summer vacations I spend some time volunteering abroad (which is on my travel form as well as my personal history). Do I need to enter each of these volunteer stays as an address in my address history? I never changed my hometown address during this time.
I guess what I really need to know is how long must I have stayed at this place to be entered as address (holiday/travel versus living at this address)
Thanks so much in advance,
Julia
