Hi Everyone! My spouse applied for spouse sponsorship visa from Canada. She then left Canada to stay with me. I am the principal applicant. I was in Australia for studies by that time. Now, I am living in Pakistan. My visa office is Sydney, Australia
My application was received by the CIC on 6th of November, 2017. I have done my medical exam at 23rd January 2018. I moved to Pakistan from Australia in March and changed my address. CIC asked me for Clearance Security Certificate from Pakistan which I provided in April, 2018 before the given time frame. They confirmed on 18th April, 2018 that my Police certificate has been received and my application in under final review and will contact shortly. Since then, I have not heard anything yet from the CIC. I am a bit curious. Are there any other people facing the same situation or is it me ?

Estimated processing times for outland applications is 12 months - so there's nothing unusual about your processing time at this point. The fact you changed countries and had to send a new clearance security certificate for Pakistan in April likely created a few delays to processing and may mean your application isn't finalized within 12 months. If your spouse is still living outside of Canada with you and IRCC figures this out, your spouse may be asked to submit evidence that the two of you plan to relocate to Canada once the PR visa is approved. I'm assuming your spouse is a citizen rather than PR.

our application took 12 months and 5 days to have a decision made... many others took 12-14 months in march 2017... as prior poster advised, IRCC is working to complete 80%of applications within 12 months
