Hi,

My wife has 2 years 1 month Canadian work experience as programmer analyst(IT) and as per the NOC list, code 2174 seems applicable.

Would like to know if this is correct and she can apply for PR under this category. Please let me know if there are any other codes that might be applicable or if there are any changes to the NOC codes for canadian experience class after June 2011 changes.

Thanks in advance.

Nadig.

Hi, the NOC looks right, and the experience is sufficient, if you can document at least 37.5 hours per week ("full-time"), and the work was authorized with some type of work permit.

The only recent changes I'm aware of are new application forms and some minor clarifications on the document checklist (July 2011).

Hey Jes

Congratulations to u for PR visa. U have a good life bro...I consider this medical request as a blessings of my family and friends in this forum especally u jes.

Thanks a lot. I am hoping that I will get my PR as soon as possible. I was so confused on what to do in case my work permit expires. But now my work permit is valid till june 2012 so by then most likely I will get my PR as seattle office is pretty fast after issuing medical request.

Thanks once again

Yaju
