IT and Accounting jobs in Ottawa - Need Advice

Hi,

Currently we are living in Winnipeg and planning to move to Ottawa later in 2017 after getting the Citizenship. Can you please advise the prospects of getting a good IT job in Ottawa either in Govt. or Private Sector without French language. Currently I'm working as an Applications Analyst with 14 Years of IT experience and my wife is working as an Accounting Analyst with 2 years of experience. We both don't know French.

We've visited Ottawa briefly this summer and we liked the city and decided to move permanently there and since started our research regarding the jobs and life in Ottawa. Any advice will be greatly appreciated regarding the jobs/life in Ottawa.

Government jobs will likely be difficult with no French language. Being the capital I suspect most jobs will be bilingual. Not sure about private sector.

I'm working as a Systems Analyst, not sure if French is required to work as Systems Analyst in Federal Departments like CRA ? Any advice from IT folks here...
