issuing COPR

Hi,

My common law and I will be travelling while our outland PR is in process. Does anybody know where we can find out how our country (Argentina) will issue the COPR? Do they request the passport and send it back to us? Are they willing to send it back to us outside of their jurisdiction? Do they even request the passport or just send the COPR?

Can anyone tell me how to find this information or if they know anything about how that part of the process works?

If you are visa-exempt to enter Canada, you will not be asked for your passport to insert the IM - 1 visa. Otherwise, you will have to send it in when it's requested.
