Issue while Signing the Express Entry Application since i dont Have Last Name

Hi,

While signing the application digitally , it is asking for entering First Name and Last Name, However at below link it has been mentioned that if a person is not having last name on his passport, he should keep First Name field Blank and Enter is First Name in the Last Name Field http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=014&top=4

Now my issue is , the webpage is not accepting a Blank first Name Field .

Anybody facing the same issue.

On your passport, do you have just a single name?

For signing purposes, enter your only name (if you have just one 'single' name) on the first part [as a first name] and continue/submit. I hope that works.

If your passport has just one single name, it will be defined as the primary identifier and will be recorded in the family name field in IRCC’s system of record (it will be done by the IRCC, not your headache).

However, if your travel document has two or more names but no last name, check the machine readable area and any name mentioned before << is your last name while all other names following << and separated by single < are your first names.
