Hello. I am an Indian passport holder, however my passport was issued in Ghana. While submitting the form called Application of Study Permit, the upload was declined saying that the place of issue and citizenship need to be the same. It also said that I needed to answer a certain questionnaire if the information in the pdf is correct. I am confused as to which questionnaire I am supposed to answer because the only one I did, didn't ask for the place of issue of the passport. If anyone could help me out, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

The form is Application for Study Permit Made Outside of Canada (IMM1294). The issue is not with the validation. The following is the error message that I received:
Error: We couldn't upload your file.

- Error Description:
You entered a different value for:- country of nationality of your passport (online questionnaire)
- passport - Country of issue (PDF form)
- These two answers need to match. Check the answer on your PDF form and:
- change it if you made a mistake, or
- if it's correct, you need to answer the online questionnaire again and get a new personal checklist.
i think country of issue is still India.

The country that issues your Indian passport is always India no matter where in the world you actually got or applied for the passport, so put India.

so what authority does Ghana have to issue indian documents?
