Is visitor visa still valid that was approved for parents without biometrics back in 2018

My mother had her visitor visa approved back in 2018. Back then they weren't asking for biometrics. Now, I recently applied for my father and noticed that now they require biometrics. So I am a little confused that do I need to reapply for my mom as well or is her visa valid as-is (without biometrics)?
