Is Traveller Cheque better OR Travel card by Thomas Cook international for POF ?

Basically I heard that TC when encashed in CA bank they charge few commision if you want to encash them in your canadian bank. Is it true ? Secondly, when you use the TC at Walmart, or any other store they may charge few commision as well over and above the proice...is it true ?

Is travel card by a reputed international foreign exchange (Thomas Cook) acceptable if they provide a proper statement of the card balance with the dollar amount in the card ?

Anything should be fine as proof of funds...Thomas Cook is a know world wide company and make sure you take statement from them that you have so so money on your Card one or two days before traveling. Travellers Cheques are like physical money in hand and you dont need to show any letter proof about TC....
