Is ticket itinerary or dummy ticket mandatory to upload in purpose of travel for visitor visa?

Having an itiniery of what you will do, where you will stay etc. in Canada is required, having a ticket is not a requirement and I would not create a "dummy ticket" to support your app even if a ticket was required.
