Hello Seniors,

My friend is applying for his PR. he just received his reference Letter. Is it OK to mention the expiry date of the work permit? and is the role and responsibilities ok for the NOC 2171?

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

This letter is to confirm that Mr. XYZ is employed by 5011 Inc. in a hill-time position of Quality Assurance Specialist (NOC 2171) since April 22, 2013. Mr. XYZ holds a valid work permit until 00-00- 2015. Mr. XYZ works 40 hours per week and earns $XXX.00 annually plus benefits.

His job responsibilities are related to Software testing which include:

• Review and contribute to test plans.
• Analyze, review and assess user requirements, specifications and models for testing
• Create test specifications.
• Write and review test scenarios and test cases with the QA team, Development team and Business Development team.
• Set up and configure the test environment, coordinating with IT administration.
• Prepare and acquire test data.
• Implement tests on all test levels, execute and log the tests, evaluate the results and document the deviations from expected results.
• Use test administration or management tools and test monitoring tools as required.
• Measure performance of components and systems.

5011 Inc. is satisfied with XYZ performance and is offering him a permanent indeterminate full-time (40 hours per week) employment in the position of Quality Assurance Specialist (NOC 2171) with annual salary of $XXX.00 upon receipt of Permanent Residence Status by him. XYZ responsibilities will remain as outlined above.

Benefits have to be mentioned in the letter, too. Make sure they put that in,
as they mentioned benefits in the first sentence.

... earns $XXX.00 annually plus benefits.

Rest looks good and duties match NOC 2171.

Hello Sir,

I'm going to apply under NOC 2171. I just want to confirm one thing. The job duties for NOC 2171 are given in four points viz. Information Systems business analysts and consultants, Systems security analysts, Information systems quality assurance analysts, Systems auditors.

My job duties are related to first paragraph. Do I have to make 70% job duties match overall or for a single paragraph only?
