A friend is a refugee who has been here for 7 years and still waiting for PR. Supposed to have been to court a year ago February and was told should be no problem. Is this normal to have to wait that long? They went to Mexico first for 4 years and now in Canada 7 years. She has a driver's license and has a full time job in a fair sized factory for 6 or 7 years. They can't and haven't travelled out of Canada since they came here.
