My education is in commerce stream, Bcom (Hons) and I did a post graduation diploma in business administration too. I have several years of work exp. in Administration profile and about 2 years back I switched my role and started working as an IT Operations Analyst with a renowned IT company. My job role is somewhat similar to a business analyst role. Overtime, I learned SQL, Tableau and currently pursuing a Data Analytics certificate course from Coursera to grow in my current role. I am 35 years old. Since I do not have any formal education in IT domain, I am thinking of enrolling for a Business Analyst 1 or 2 year certificate program in Canada. While I consulted many agents for this, they advised me to apply for a Masters program, however due to my low academics getting admission for a masters program looks impossible to me. I am thinking of applying for Business Analytics programs but looking at the refusals from colleges/universities for certificate programs i am in dilemma whether I should reconsider my decision or not. I am looking for suggestions from all the veterans out here for the relevant program as per my profile. Thank you.
