Is there hurm in sending documents at later stage?

My application is with CIC and they have not charged my card yet, but I have forgotten to send one of Reference letters.

Could I send it now? Would they accept it?

Is there any hurm in sending it now? Will it slow my application?

Unless they have started processing your application , don't send anything as they won't know what to do with it.
