I applied on 22 oct 2012 and I got rejected on june 3, 2013.
Reason that "From this information I was not satisfied that you performed the functions of the lead statement and a majority of the main duties under NOC 0613"

One of my friend who has close permit applied with the same kind of duties , same noc , got medical last week.

So is it true that visa officers do not say that they do not satisfy with duties performed.

1. I applied under 0631( restaurant manager), but he did not satisfy i performed manager duties. I want to apply again. So is it wise to change NOC to 6311 (supervisor, restaurant) and apply again.
2. Or should i apply for LMO And attach positive LMO with NOC 0631 to PR file. My pgwp expire on august 2014.

Can we see the duties mentioned on your ref. letter?
 
Hi here is the duties mentioned on my letter:

 Completes and posts the staff work schedules.
 Directs and coordinates staff to provide excellent customer service in fast and efficient.
 Supervises food preparation to ensure that food safety and operations standards are
maintained.
 Communicate changes of any menu or price, formulas and other specials offers to staff.
 Maintains and Analyzes business record to increase sale, control food and labour cost.
 Order food ingredient and other supplies.
 Keep accurate cash, sales, purchase and inventory control records.
 Recruits, evaluates, disciplines and terminates staff as needed.
 Trains new employee in their task and responsibilities.
 Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote catering.
 Ensure that health and safety codes are maintained and security policy is followed.
 Coordinates and supervises the cleaning and maintenance of the facilities and equipment.
 Handle customer complaints in a friendly and sensitive manner.
 Inspect equipment and storage facilities to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.

If you have a closed work permit you CANNOT use an NOC that is different from the one mentioned on your work permit.

That's better! Sorry, I was going on your subject title.

Personally (and I'm no expert), having compared the duties mentioned in your ref. letter to those of the NOC, it seems your duties are a little more "hands on". What was your job title with the company? Was it small or big? I think if you had applied with a supervisor NOC you would probably have been fine. Again, I'd check your duties against that of the other NOC before re-applying to make sure they are similar.

As you have already had an application processed by CIC, just make sure you don't change your ref letter duties otherwise it will cause you problems.

Sorry for the confusing title.
I have been working in subway. I worked 8 months as a sandwich maker
8 months as shift manager
And 13 months as manager before applied for PR
 
In my letter job duties mentioned for all 3 position.

Do i really need to mention duties for all position. I want to count experience for the manager position only.

It was 2 pages long letter.
