Is there any benefit to linking your application through the CIC online account, or is it just as easy to have communication and email come through your regular email address?
Its better to link your application to your online account.......your could upload document like Schedule A........thru online account you could check status message for eligibility assessment, document submitted, background check......online is easy to have communication and message on your account and thru your regular email address.

thanks, I just got a little nervous when it said once you link your application all communication would go through the cic account. All linked and done now.
