Is there a way I can travel while waiting for PR card after eCOPR?

I received my eCoPR on the 6th of june 2023, and still have not received my PR card in the mail. I have uploaded all necessary details (photos, mailing address, etc.). I am in urgent need to travel outside of North America and I was wondering if anyone can help with a way around the travel restriction? Is there a specific travel document I need to apply for? If so any insight on how long that takes? If not possible is there a way for me to reach out to anybody to try and expedite the process due to a personal emergency?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

You can apply for a PRTD from outside of Canada. The PRTD will allow you to return to Canada. How long the PRTD takes can depend on where you are applying from.

The card will be delivered to your Canadian address. Assuming someone has access to the mail at that address, they can courier the card to you outside of Canada. That's another option.

I ended up waiting to receive the card and then travel because I did not want to risk it. I received my PR Card within 3 months of receiving eCOPR

No worries! It varies case by case. A friend of mine received it within 3 weeks, and another got it within 2 months. Good luck with your application
