Is the former expired work permit necessary to prove work experience?

Hi guys, I have a question on how to prove the work experience in Canada. I started my work in Canada from 2014, but now I cannot find my first work permit from 201409 to 201508. I have offer letter, the salary sheet every month and have the job letter from the HR. Do I need my expired work permit?

The work permit is irrelevant, you'll need a reference letter following IRCC's requirements.

They can check your status with your UCI number.
