Hi,

Have you gone through a checklist of document requirements by your home-country visa office?

I did not send any "written statement of purpose" with my application nor heard of anyone mentioning such a letter in this forum regarding FSW.

Hey Thx Ice cube fr d reply..
Well my Visa office is New delhi..even i was wondering nobody had ever mentioned statmnt of purpose doc.
But my consultant asked me to write one. So just wanted to know if anybody has written or not...

I've never heard it being required, but would it hurt anything to do it? It gives you an opportunity to demonstrate writing and English skills and maybe answer questions about which the VO would otherwise call you in. You could ask your consultant why he thinks you should, he probably has a reason like he thinks it improves your presentation or reduces interviews or something. You didn't say he said it was required, just that he asked you to write one.
