Yes if your husband wants to apply for SOWP or eventually wants to get PR even if you are the primary applicant he will need a medical. If he fails you will not get PR as well. Has your employer started the LMIA process? Is this a transfer? How can it be your employer if you can’t work in Canada? You will have to. See if your employer can get an LMIA and you can get a work permit first.
