Is rent considered as a valid source of income ( post ITA)

Need help with this!
So, we have tenants staying in our basement and we get a monthly rent but the property is in my dad's name.
The question is will we be expected to show proof of ownership of our property? And if yes, what will it have to be?

I got my ITA last week and while showing my proof of funds at the time of application, do I have to show the property documents as well?
