I am in process of submitting my documents however i was asked to get the RCMP done. is it mandatory to get RCMP done?

If you are asked for it, then YES, that is why you are being asked for it.

You must submit everything in your personalized checklist

I should have been very specific here. One of my friend asked me to get it but is it really mandatory for Pr application unless asked for it?
iam in process of securing all the documents right now.

It is not for everyone, it is if you are asked for it.

Some people do and some people not.

If they ask for it get it, otherwise not needed.
