I gave proof of settlement funds when I submitted my final application to Buffalo last year.
I understand that they ask for proof once again when the stage comes to issue Visas.
Is that correct?
Has anyone been rejected for being short of funds at that crucial stage?

Hi Honolulu,

They can ask for Proof of funds again and its already been a year when you submitted your docs., they might do. It's not necessary though that they always ask for it.

Thanks.
Is it typically at the stage when the passports are requested for stamping?
What has been the experience of forum members?
I may fall "slightly" short of the required amount.
So worried..

Also at the time of landing/crossing the boarder the Immigration officer may ask. But it depends on the attending officer and not necessary at all times.

generally they do not ask for funds' proof again while applicaton in process. but it's their choice and if they call for the same and someone falls short then they may reject the file. so it's better to be safe than sorry.

i'd say this varies from visa office to visa office. e.g. CHC Islamabad asks for proof of funds again at the time of passport request. just like sanjeev says, better safe than sorry. try to maintain the sufficient funds till you get your visa.

Salam all seniors,

I have completed my documents for CHC, Islamabad and ready to dispatch. I have heard from this forum CHC, London will entertain all pakistani application from April 1.

Please advise shall i wait or send to CHC, Islamabad.

Thanks

Please send another proof ASAP. They have the right to refuse if you don't meet the minimum requirement.

Is it necessary that the funds be in the account of Primary Applicant? Is it OK if funds are available in the account of spouse?

They have not asked yet and I just sent my medicals.
