Hi,

I was wondering if the processing time indicated on IRCC actually accurate, can someone please share their experience and specify the country they applied from.

Not really, it's more of an estimation than accuracy. There are a lot, like ton of factors that can contribute to any application. It's basically a case to case, but sometime they gave allowance from their estimation so even if it delays you still have time.

As mentioned in another thread, it is an average. Also depends on whether you are immediate family (Parents of citizens), previous Canadian TRV etc. who may be processed faster. So one person may take 30 days and another 200 days so the average is 115 days.

It's an estimated processing time. Right now we are seeing many TRVs take longer than the estimated processing time since IRCC is prioritizing study permits and work permits.
