Is Police Clearance Certificate necessary at the time of landing in Canada?

Hello Friends,

At last I received my visa one month back. and planning to depart.

Some of the friends says , " It is necessary to have valid PCC at the time of landing in Canada to show the immigration authority at the port of entry"

My question is : Is it necessary to have valid PCC at the time of entering in Canada? I have already given PCC at the time of interview (Which will be about 12 months old at the time of my entering in Canada.)
