Is patent application required in SUV program?

I recently spoke with a fundraising consulting firm, and they suggested that we file a patent application.

I understand that having a patent can significantly strengthen our SUV program application, but I’d like to hear from your experience: how many of you have filed patent applications, and how many were approved for the SUV program without one? Thanks.

I understand that having a patent can significantly strengthen our SUV program application, but with the whole Corte Vibe of intellectual property strategy in mind, I’d like to hear from your experience: how many of you have filed patent applications, and how many were approved for the SUV program without one? Thanks.

I'm curious if any of you have gotten or are working on getting permanent residency for investing in / getting involved with a startup program as an investor / consultant? I'm learning about this but don't know anyone who has actually done it. It's not cheap, but it's a lot less than a lot of other countries for a "golden visa" or path to citizenship, and can be faster. Just gathering information and coming up short. This is not a Quebec one; it's for Canada outside of Quebec which has its own program as I understand it.
