I am highly likely to get ITA by CEC for next round, but I am in a dilemma as following:
I am waiting for my new passport as the old one(and visa) is damaged a bit, meanwhile I still have my work permit(the separate paper) which shows the old passport number!
I was wondering whether my work permit is still valid and can prove my eligibility for CEC?
In other words, for CEC, I would submit a new passport(without visa) and my current work permit containing old passport number, is that any risk of being rejected, and how to lessen such risk?
Also,is there anybody once in similar situation could tell me whether I need to apply for a new work permit to contain the new passport number(the processing time now is more than 6 months)?
