Is Notarization of Reference letter from Manager really needed?

You don't need to notarize the reference letter, I submitted my documents without notarization from my supervisor I already got my PPR

This is what I did.
1. I attached a copy of the email that I sent to my company asking for a reference letter and their reply saying they won't be able to provide.
2. Letter from my supervisor (not on letter company head)
3. A copy of his Company ID card
4. A copy of my salary slip

Oh ok... My former colleague doesn’t have a company card, so I had to get her paystub and get the letter notarized. Hopefully that will work, still stuck at the MEP :/
