So you are counting to 50 points already. What is your ECA/degree in? What is the new NOC? What OINP stream are you hoping for?
What OINP stream? Do you have job experience in the NOC if you have been in Canada doing a job in another NOC?
Trying with "Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream". and yes, I have the experience. this is the point, my job duties is mix between business consultancy (current NOC 21221) and Technical work like programming and scripting (NOC 21231/32).
But your current LMIA is NOC 21221, and a mix of NOCs doesn’t count. So this stream is not tied to EE so your EE profile is not relevant. So you must have:
To meet the work experience requirement, you must have at least two years of cumulative paid full-time work experience (or the equivalent in paid part-time work) in the same occupation (same National Occupational Classification code) as your job offer.
You must have gained this work experience within the five years prior to the date you submit your application, not the date you received the invitation to apply. If your work experience was gained in Canada, you must have been legally living and working in Canada.
So you cannot count your Canadian experience as it is for a different NOC. What is your OINP score again? If you have two years of experience in the NOC within the last 5 years and a high enough score then nomination is possible. Since you are on a LMIA exempt work permit, using your current employer for any past experience prior to being in Canada is problematic because they had to show that you were fulfilling the duties of your current NOC. They could have done the LMIA exempt permit in NOC 21231 from the beginning.

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this. I had been with the same company doing the same job for 10 years, I reallocated to Canada in August. so, I have the enough prior experience for the same NOC (Information Systems Specialist, NOC 21221), and I continue the same job here in Canada. I'm planning to apply for OINP in February, so I would have completed the 6 months required to get the OINP points for work experience. This will make my OINP score 61. My only worry is that Ontario PNP is not picking this NOC at all in any of the previous draws ! and even the express entry CEC stream (if I apply after one year) may not work, as IRCC didn't have any CEC draws since 2022, not sure if this will continue to 2023 or not!
If your NOC is not picked then no nomination. So you need to focus on increasing your EE score so maybe learn French to B2 level. It will take a lot of time if you have no French knowledge.
Any Idea how many points will French B2 level give? I don't think I can make it even. Now thinking of going back to home country
Your have to use the CRS calculator and see what adding French language test scores will give you. Look at other PNP programs and see if eligible if you can secure a job offer. . I'm currently on closed work permit with my Toronto-based employer. will check with them if they can re-issue a new job offer from another province. or try with NOC change workaround.
Do they have offices in other provinces? Most likely need a new LMIA too if changing provinces.
Hello. I have good news. Ontario had OINP draw yesterday, and my current NOC code 21221 and 21222 are in the list. now, I'll open my profile once I get my university certificate checked by WES.
