Is my sponsor sponsored?

Silly question... .Checklist asks if my sponsor was sponsored.. He's a naturalized citizen and was his mother's dependant.when she became pr as he was a child back then. Would I tick yes and enter her information ?

How did your sponsor's mom become PR? Did she apply for PR herself or did she marry a canadian citizen or PR and was sponsored? What's the immigration code in your sponsor's confirmation of PR?

She married a canadian - she was sponsored through marriage. So I'm not quite sure what to tick, yes or no... I can ask him to take a look on his immigration code on his copr, but i believe he was listed as her dependant when she got sponsored.

Shoot. They divorced some years ago and are no longer in contact.. But I guess I have to get his name and dob?

Well, if you husband's mother was really married to the sponsor and lived with him for some time, she should remember his name and date of birth .
