Hi Seniors,

I got my PR in August 2014, and I landed in Canada in Nov 2014, I stayed thr for 4 months and then came back because of marriage issues.
And till now I outside Canada. Now I am planning to apply for divorce and also planning to go back to Canada in search of good career and job opportunity.

Question 1: I am planning to go to Canada in Feb 2017, My PR will be valid until that time??
Question 2: If I will apply for divorce, then My PR will get cancelled or I can still be having PR status after divorce.
Question 3: Is it very difficult to shift to Canada alone and search for job and house. because I don't have any relative or friend in Canada.

Waiting for the reply.

1. Yes, it will.
2. No negative impact. Your status will remain the same.
3. It will not be easy, regardless. However, as a single person, you will be more flexible in chasing opportunities.

Depends entirely on the reason you got your PR. If your status is from marriage to a Canadian spouse that has broken down, then your PR was conditional on maintaining that relationship for two years after you got PR, and if it was reported or discovered that you had not done so, then your PR could be revoked. If your status was from an economic stream, and separately from that you happened to be married, then the divorce will have no impact.
