Hi guys
I have a lmo (old one) and a two year full time contract in NOC a
I am already working in Canada right now.
I can apply under FSW or under CEC this Dec
My question is about the"valid job offer" when creating my ee profile.
1.is my job offer regarded as valid?
2.or do I have to ask my employer to give my a permanent one? and how do I do that?

thanks for reply!

PS: I wonder if my employer has to send any letters to cic/hrdsc or can they just provide me another copy of offer with statement that my offer will be permanent if I get a pr status?

just found this:

If recruiting from within Canada
If you have a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment for an employee holding a temporary work permit to whom you wish to extend a permanent job offer, the LMIA may still be valid under Express Entry. However, if the position or person was previously exempt from an LMIA, then a new LMIA will be required under Express Entry.

am I in this situation?

It asks for penanent job offer or you can give a letter from employer/esdc that if you get pr they will convert this job to permanent job

that‘s what I would like to know.
what exact these kind of letter or prove should I get?
any instructive information on it?
Should it come solely from employers? or any authorities should be involved?
my employers just agreed but they want to make sure if they can simply give me a letter or if there is any other procedures to be go through.

thanks

Many people have not gone through same situation so you can ask cic helpline for help regarding this issue

Hello,

Is there anyone already working in Canada on an Open Work Permit?
I just submitted my application. However, after the submission, it is asking me to register myself with Job Bank as I don't have a valid job offer as per their rule(No LMIA). However, I am working on an open work permit where no employer requires LMIA and my NOC code is 2174. So, technically it is valid and I don't want job. But, still CIC is asking me to register under Job Bank.

Please let me know if any one of you have come across this.

Thanks.

Open Express Entry profile with you LMO number, and then CIC will tell if it´s valid or not... Don´t ask, register your profile !!!!

Hi,
if you have an open work permit select 'No' to the question asking if you have a valid job offer.

Of course we have come across this. Just register for Job Bank because you won't be added to the EE pool until you do. If someone offers you a job with an LMIA, worry about it then.
