Is my English education enough for a uni admissions if not what should i do?

I havecurrently done my Alevels in Pakistan and i am going to apply to canadian university ( i am a permanent resident). My question is the i have taken english in my olevels some peaky says if u have a grade A or B in English u don’t need to give English proficiency test but some people say its not true i am very confused i have checked with the university i am applying it says they accept but my uncle says they do not . I am applying to University of calgary

I would expect that you must take IELTS. It is the standard test. You keep on taking it until you pass. It is $309 a chance.
