Greetings to all,

I have encountered a sudden impediment while filling in the questionnaire. I am in a common-law relationship and my partner has got a daughter from his former marriage. She is a permanent resident of Canada, yet I am not strictly speaking her relative. She is over 22 years old and depends on our family's financial support, however it's mostly my partner who provides it. Can she still be considered to be my family member?

Thank you in advance for your help.

She is your step daughter.
