Is MSP a kind of social assistant?

Hi guys,

I have recently started thinking about how to be sponsored by my partner. We have lived together for almost 1 year.

It says on the website:
If the sponsor is accepting social assistants other than disabled, the person can not sponsor his/her partner.

Does this include MSP (medical service premium) and GST/HST credit?

MSP is a mandatory medical program in every province. It doesn't matter if you are employed or not.
